On the afternoon of October 21, 2020, the ZJUI Faculty Delegation participated in the Seminar on promoting High-quality Development of the Economic of Haining during the 14th Five-Year Plan（2021-25）period, and discussed the future reform and innovation of Haining with relevant units of the Haining Government and representatives of local prestigious enterprises.

To arouse the enthusiasm for the innovation of the students, enhance students‘ sense of social responsibility, October 19, ZJUI specially invited Mr. PAN Jianqing, chairman of TDG group, to conduct the theme lecture concerning enterprise's innovation and the responsibility in the class of Engineering Orientation. More than two hundred students attended and listened to Mr. Pan’ experience and comprehension.

On October 17, ZJUI successfully hosted 2020 International Concrete Dragon Boat Competition on the International Campus, Zhejiang University. 30 teams, including the university of Illinois at Urbana-champaign (UIUC), Zhejiang university, Central South University, South University of Science and Technology, Dalian University of Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University, Kongu Engineering College, gathered on campus for the event.
