The programs are offered by the partnership between Zhejiang University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). UIUC is a public research intensive university in the U.S. and a global lea der for engineering education and research.
By introducing top engineering curricula and resources from UIUC, ZJUI dual degree programs will provide a world-class engineering education. The four programs we offer are both advantage programs in ZJU and UIUC. These programs of UIUC were accredited by ABET and stay on the top-tier in United States: Civil Engineering ranked at the second place in U.S., Computer Engineering is 4th, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are both 5th. UIUC has 24 Nobel prizes and 28 pulitzer prizes.. (US News Ranking of 2021) .
