Recently, Zhejiang University has announced the results of its 2025 Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations and Master's Theses Selection. Following a rigorous multi-stage review process, a total of 179 doctoral dissertations were awarded the 2025 Zhejiang University Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation, comprising 145 academic doctoral dissertations and 34 professional doctoral dissertations.
Among the awardees, three dissertations supervised by faculty from the Zhejiang University-University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Institute (ZJUI) were selected, including Lian Yaxiao, a 2021 doctoral student in Optical Engineering supervised by Professor Di Dawei, for the dissertation Micro- and nano-perovskite light-emitting diodes and transistor-driven micro- and nano-perovskite light-emitting diodes and preparation methods thereof, Luo Shiying, a 2019 doctoral student in Electrical Engineering supervised by Professor Ma Hao, for the dissertation Research on Compensation Topology Design of Inductive Power Transfer Systems, and Zhu Wei, a 2022 doctoral student in Civil Engineering supervised by Associate Professor Li Binbin, for the dissertation Latent Variable Model and Its Application to Bayesian Operational Modal Analysis.
