On June 20th, the farewell ceremony for the Class of 2025 undergraduate graduates of the ZJUI was held at the West Lecture Hall of International Campus, Zhejiang University. Prof. Lee Der-Horng, Dean of ZJUI and Prof. Ma Hao, Vice Dean of ZJUI delivered speeches respectively. Also in attendance were Assistant Dean Assist. Prof. Simon Hu, faculty advisors Assist. Prof. Wang Gao'ang, Assist. Prof. Liu Zuozhu, and Dr. Zhou Cui, tutors, and the Class of 2025 undergraduate graduates. 

Dean Lee extended congratulations to the graduates via video and encouraged them to move forward courageously with a global perspective. He advised the graduates to uphold the qualities of integrity, mutual respect, and the courage to take responsibility with the spirit of teamwork and meet challenges with unwavering perseverance. He expressed the hope that the students would elevate their engineering thinking into wisdom for serving society, and no matter which path of development they choose, they can respond to the needs of the times through innovative practices and contribute the wisdom and strength of ZJUIers to the world with their professional competence.

Prof. Ma Hao mentioned that no matter where everyone goes in the future, ZJUI will always look forward to everyone coming back often.

During the ceremony, Prof. Ma Hao and Assist. Prof. Simon Hu presented awards to 11 graduates honored as "Outstanding Graduates of Zhejiang Province" and 77 graduates honored as "Outstanding Graduates of Zhejiang University". They also formally appointed Class of 2025 undergraduate representatives as grade and class liaisons, presenting them with official letters of appointment.

To conclude the farewell event, each graduate wrote down their future aspirations on special stationery. These handwritten letters were then sealed and buried beneath the campus tree—a symbolic time capsule of hopes, taking root where their academic journey began.
