On May 18, the donation ceremony of Eaton (China) Investment Co., Ltd. to Zhejiang University Education Foundation and the unveiling Ceremony of Zhejiang Provincial University Students' Off-campus Practical Education Base were Successfully Held at the International Campus, Zhejiang University. At the beginning, Mr. Zhou Yifu gave a speech on behalf of the International Campus, ZJU. He said that Eaton is the first foreign enterprise to provide donation support to the International Campus through Zhejiang University Education Foundation, which is of great significance to promote the internationalization of the International Campus and plays a leading and demonstrative role. He reviewed the history of scientific research and education cooperation between Eaton, ZJUI and the College of Electrical Engineering of Zhejiang University over the past ten years, and shared the development process of the all-round cooperation, which started from the "seed" research project of both sides and gradually expanded into a full range of cooperation including laboratory construction, research frontier exploration, student practice and donations to help students and so on. He said that the establishment of "Zhejiang University-Eaton (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Provincial Practical Education Base" and the cooperation with ZJUI and the International Research Center for Advanced Electrical Engineering in building a research platform not only created a high-quality academic and scientific research exchange platform, but also explored a new model of innovative education of science and technology between universities and enterprises.

The donation project will be used to support the educational development of Zhejiang University, including the establishment of academic scholarships, internship and practice scholarships, support for the "Eaton Cup" electronic design course competition, the iCareer series of activities, and activities related to innovation and entrepreneurship and student development carried out by the Residential College of International Campus.
