August 17, 187 domestic students of this year arrived on campus, they have come from provinces like Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shanghai, Shandong, Hebei, Fujian, Shannxi etc.. This year, the International Campus still using a one-stop registration mode, everything can completed at the residential college. ZJUI also set a information desk in the residential college to answer the questiones from parents and students. Even the weather was so hot, it can not dampen th freshmen's enthusiasm, they walk around and taking photos everythere.

At 11 a.m., Professor He Lianzhen (Vice President of Zhejiang University and Dean of the International Campus, ZJU), Professor Fu Qiang (Assistant President of Zhejiang University, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Vice Dean of the International Campus, ZJU) and other leaders of the International Campus, together with the directors or deans of each Institute, Office of General Administration, Center of Academic Affairs, Office of Student Affairs, Office of Campus Development and Management, and other offices came to the Residential College to visit the newly-registered freshmen, and their parents.

Started from 4 p.m., ZJUI freshmen's parents gathered together in the multi-media hall to join the parents meeting. ZJUI Vice Dean Ma Hao hosted the meeting and addressed warm welcome to the parents traveled for a long distance. Dean of ZJUI, Prof. Li Erping introduced the education concept, cultivation characteristics, future development of students to the parents. The Q&A session was active, the deans answered the parents' question one by one.

Today, the students starts their pursing eagerly.
