January 8th, 2019, ZJUI held First Academic committee meeting and First Academic degrees committee meeting in the morning. The meeting was hosted by the chairman of the committee, ZJUI Vice Dean, Ma Hao. Present members includes professor Li Erping, professor Xiao Yan and other professors from ZJUI, also professor Shen Jianxin, professor Qi Donglian, professor Chen Hong, professor Zhang Honggang and other professors from related institutes in ZJU.

The meeting reviewed ZJUI’s Doctoral education plan, Proposal for the establishment of master degree program in International Campus, Zhejiang University and The proposal of the international cross-disciplinary engineering science research center of International Campus, Zhejiang University, deeply discussing around enrollment and cultivation of ZJUI’s doctoral candidates, Master degree program,  the setting up the international cross-disciplinary engineering science research center of International Campus, Zhejiang University and other topics.

The establishment and the first meeting of ZJUI Academic committee and Academic degrees committee are milestones during the development of ZJUI. It has significant importance for promoting the teaching,  giving scope to professors' initiative in participating in ZJUI management, promoting academic leadership and cooperation with related departments of ZJU, also promoting talent cultivation.
