ZJUI held the induction ceremony for new faculty members at the Multi-purpose Hall on the evening of September 16. The ceremony was chaired by Executive Dean Prof. Philip Krein. Dean Prof. Li Erping presented the letters of appointment to the 5 newly appointed faculty members, including Prof. Thomas Honold, and extended a welcome to the new colleagues.

Three newly appointed faculty members will provide lectures in the following semester. ZJUI’s faculty members, consisting of those from UIUC, ZJU and those hired by ZJUI, will further improve ZJUI’s internationalized educational system.

After the ceremony, ZJUI staff members briefed the audience on their respective duties, and made the commitment to effectively support faculty members’ work and life, guarantee the steady daily teaching, so as to contribute to ZJUI’s growth.
