To encourage the students' engineering consciousness, engineering quality, improve their ability to integrate theory into practice, the ZJUI students took part in the “2018 student summer industry visits”, organized by ZJUI.
Beginning at the end of May, ZJUI students visited Alibaba Group Holding Limited, Huawei Technologies CO., LTD, Jinko Solar Holding Co., Ltd., Eaton Corporation, Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp., Chint Group, TDG HOLDING CO., LTD. and many other famous high-tech enterprises in the region. This gave the students a chance to do face-to-face communications with experts in industry, and even walk onto the production line and R&D Center to experience the real time development of Chinese technology.

Many students expressed that through these visits, they saw the amazing development of domestic high-tech industry and Haining’s emerging industry. It also helped the students to have a deeper understanding of the theoretical knowledge they gained this semester and inspired them to think about future career plans. Meanwhile, these industry hosts welcomed the arrival of ZJUI students, and hope to develop more diversified collaborations with ZJUI. The hosts also want to make contributions to educating high-tech leaders together with ZJUI.
