On the afternoon of December 16, Zhaohui Wu, President of Zhejiang University (ZJU), Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, received Prof. Andreas Cangellaris, the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Vice Chancellor-elect for academic affairs and Provost-elect. The two sides explored the development of Zhejiang University/University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign Institute (ZJUI). President Wu expressed that he would fully support the development of the international campus of ZJU. They discussed accelerating the construction of interdisciplinary engineering research center; attracting world-class talents; exploring a new mode of students cultivation and other issues widely. Prof. Lianzhen He, Executive Vice Dean of International Campus, ZJU, Prof. Erping Li, Dean of ZJUI Institute, Min Li, Director of Foreign Affairs Office, ZJU also attended.
