The National Science and Technology Awards Conference was recently held in Beijing. Zhejiang University (ZJU) secured 12 2025 National Science and Technology Awards as the lead completing institution. An additional award was led by a ZJU faculty member, with the University listed as the second completing institution. The combined award sets an all-time record in the University’s history.

Among them, the project “Theory and Methods for Novel Electromagnetic Stealth,” for which Prof. Li Erping, Qiushi Chair Professor at Zhejiang University and founding Dean of ZJUI, and Assistant Professor Qian Chao of ZJUI were among the principal contributors, won the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award.
