In an initiative to enhance communication and professional growth among faculty members, ZJUI held its inaugural "Tea Talk Traffic Bureau" event on the afternoon of October 9, 2024. The event was presided over by Academician Lee Der-Horng, Dean of ZJUI. Dean Lee provided a comprehensive overview of Perfecting the Tenure-Track System by Centering on Student Development and Guided by First-Class Teaching and Research. He detailed the costs and benefits of tenure, tenure philosophy, the dossier, and research benchmarking, effectively elucidating both the macro and micro aspects of the P&T process. Dean Lee encouraged faculty members to clearly define their career development directions and set achievable goals to ensure sustainable personal and professional growth. During the interactive session, the faculty actively engaged in discussion, raising questions about their challenges and uncertainties, resulting in a lively and constructive atmosphere.

The "Tea Talk Traffic Bureau" event is a platform tailored for open communication and exchange among faculty and staff of the Institute, aiming to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere where faculty and staff can fully express confusion and make suggestions, and receive timely feedback and guidance, further strengthening the faculty governance of ZJUI.
