On December 7th, a unique Eaton scholarship award ceremony and career exchange meeting was held at the Shanghai headquarters of Eaton (China) Investment Co., Ltd., specifically for students from ZJUI. Jann Gray, Director of Talent, Learning&Culture, APAC , Wu Hang, Director of Student Affairs and Director of the Support Center of Residential College of International Campus, Zhejiang University, relevant department heads of Eaton, and representatives of ZJUI faculty members and students attended the event.

The Eaton Scholarship Program is a reward program specially designed by Eaton for ZJUI, aimed at encouraging students to actively strive, study hard, and pursue excellence. It is the first donation received by the ZJUI Future Innovation and Development Fund of Zhejiang University Education Foundation, reflecting Eaton's support and affirmation of ZJUI's undergraduate and graduate education and student cultivation. This scholarship comprehensively evaluates students' academic performance, academic research, innovation ability, discipline competitions, and other aspects, and rewards outstanding students who strive for progress and innovation.

Assist Prof. Li Chushan, Assistant Dean of ZJUI, expressed his gratitude to Eaton for its strong support to the development of various undertakings of Zhejiang University and ZJUI over the past decade. He reviewed the profound friendship that has emerged from working together on research projects and now cooperating in all aspects. He stated that Eaton's strong support has laid a solid foundation for ZJUI to explore a new mode of education that integrates industry and education. At the award ceremony, each award-winning student shared their academic experiences, growth stories, and gratitude to their instructors and Eaton. They stated that the support of the Eaton Academic Scholarship has strengthened their belief in pursuing excellence and motivated them to continuously strive to become better selves in the future.

During the exchange, ZJUI students had face-to-face communication with relevant department heads of Eaton on their academic experiences, career planning, and future development, while sharing insights and exploring knowledge and experience. The senior executives of Eaton also shared their experiences and stories in their careers, providing valuable advice and inspiration for students in their career choices. They encourage students to maintain a positive attitude, face challenges bravely, and strive to pursue their dreams. In addition, attending guests from Eaton and ZJUI students further shared their insights on the company's employment philosophy and the future development trends of the electrical industry.
