Led by Academician Lee Der-Horng of ZJUI, Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Research Center for Multimodal Transport Logistics Large Models is jointly built by a research group from Zhejiang University and Yuantong Bonded Logistics Company. In the data and modern logistics industry, the center focuses on the key core technologies of logistics transportation and intelligent computing, facing the major development strategic needs of the country and Zhejiang Province’s economy and society. With a view to building an innovative development model of multimodal transportation driven by intelligent computing, the center is expected to break through key technologies such as the general model of multimodal transportation logistics and to build a multimodal intelligent logistics platform. Also, the center may carry out advanced application demonstrations in the Yangtze River Delta region and radiate across the country. The center may then promote the global international goods trade industry represented by the “the Belt and Road”, create the world’s leading intelligent logistics multimodal transport technology innovation platform, boost the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements, cultivate and expand a number of first-class enterprises with innovative capabilities, and lead the development of multimodal transport industry in our province as well as the entire country.
