On October 25, Mr. ZHANG Xuguang, Chairman of Zhengyuan Data System Engineering Co., Ltd., was invited by ZJUI to the course of Engineering Orientation to give a lecture on My Pioneering Experience and Entrepreneurial Sprit. More than 200 students listened to his entrepreneurial story and have a thorough apprehension of his entrepreneurial spirit of daring to be the first.

Mr. ZHANG Xuguang recalled his own growth experience and entrepreneurial process. He emphasized that entrepreneurship is enterprising spirit, which requires ideals, actions, persistence, and health, wisdom, and innovation.

Innovation is always an important "gene" for development. At present, he is mainly engaged in research on business model innovation and cognitive innovation of digital economy platforms, research and development of innovative application solutions for city brain and smart city planning and convenient collaborative services, research and development of the planning and consulting of technology innovation application solutions such as meta universe, big data, blockchain, digital encrypted assets, digital CNY applications, digital campus, digital students, smart tourism, smart pension scheme, smart community.

Mr. ZHANG Xuguang also insists on lifelong learning. He currently serves as the chairman of Zhengyuan Data System Engineering Co., Ltd., the executive chairman and the director of the expert committee of the Digital Assets and Trading Committee of the General Association of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs, and the adjunct professor of the College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering of Zhejiang University. He received a bachelor's degree in Engineering from the College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering of Zhejiang University and a master's degree in Computer Application Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University. He also studied EMBA in School of Management of Zhejiang University, and he has also been a visitor scholar in Stanford University, Boston College-Business School, and Harvard Business School in the United States.

ZJUI Engineering Orientation course is a special course for freshmen. Senior scholars and industry elites from home and abroad give excellent lectures in the field of engineering to students, and lead students to practice design projects in interdisciplinary teams. Previously, ZJUI students have been given thought-provoking seminars by Mr. CHEN Liming, chairman of IBM Greater China Group, and Dr. Tan Don, IEEE member and former chairman of IEEE power electronics branch and many other experts and scholars. These seminars will broaden students' horizon, inspire students' thoughts, cultivate students' interdisciplinary thinking and ability, and stimulate students' enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship, and encourage students to carry out engineering practice.
