To further introduce high-level talents，the dean of ZJUI Li Erping, executive dean Philip Krein and high-level talent Xiao Yan etc., when every family celebrating the Spring Festival, still non-stop in the United States, Singapore and other places to hold a number of recruitment seminars, efforts to continue to grow the ranks of faculties.

On January 26, February 1 and February 11, dean Li Erping, president of ZJUI, held three high-level talent introduction talks respectively at the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University.

Dean li introduced the development status, faculties, research and talent policy of joint institude to the scholars and students present. Associate professor Wee-Liat Ong, who's a Singaporean, also attended and shared his work experience at the institution. He said that ZJUI Institute is a high-level international education and research platform, which is extremely suitable for excellent overseas scholars to realize their academic ideals. The three seminars attracted more than one hundred outstanding participants from Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University.

ZJUI’s requirement seminar at University of California, Berkeley

On January 23, professor Philip Krein, executive dean of ZJUI, held a talent recruitment seminar at University of California, Berkeley. Professor Krein introduced ZJUI's school-running philosophy, its historical origin and close cooperative relationship with UIUC to the scholars and teachers attending the conference, and emphasized ZJUI's characteristics and working environment. 

A number of scholars who intend to join ZJUI have conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with professor Krein based on their own situations, and the scene atmosphere is active. The participating scholars expressed their affirmation and interest in ZJUI's pioneering model of international cooperation education.

ZJUI’s Requirement seminars in Southern California

Director of energy, environment and infrastructure engineering of ZJUI, professor Xiao Yan went to the university of southern California to promote the recruitment of teachers on January 30. More than 30 doctoral and postdoctoral students from several famous universities in southern California attended ZJUI's recruitment seminar in southern California. Professor xiao yan made a detailed introduction on the school's philosophy and development in the recruitment promotion seminar. The atmosphere was lively and young scholars showed great interest in ZJUI's philosophy, characteristics and environment. 一Some Zhejiang University Alumni who participated in feel honored and gratified by the international development of their Alma mater. Professor Xiao Yan answered the questions of the participants, especially non-Chinese scholars. Ms. Chen Ying from the United States office of Zhejiang University attended the seminar. Before the conference, the dean of international affairs of the University of Southern California received Ms. Chen Ying and professor Xiao Yan, and the two sides had extensive and positive discussions on future cooperation.
