This event is the completion of a long series of activities carried out between the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria and participating Chinese universities. Together with students from China and the United States, they received a broad overview of the state of the art use of bamboo in the structural field.
Italian students Stefano Vitale and Claudia Giorno illustrated their projects and the progress of the prototype construction of the exhibition pavilion at the ZJUI campus. Prof. Alberto De Capua and Marina Tornatora participated remotely in videoconference from Reggio Calabria, Italy, highlighting the need to continue along the path traced between Calabria and China.
At the event, both Prof. Erping Li and Prof. Roberto Pagani made speechs and expressed their desires to further the collaborations among ZJUI and Italian universities and scholars.
