On September 26th, Dean Li Erping of our institute attended the inaugural meeting of the Haining Integrated Circuit Industry-Education Union and the China (Haining) Semiconductor Device and Material Elite Summit. He was formally appointed as the consultant of the advisory group of the Haining Integrated Circuit Industry-Education Union. In order to facilitate the reform and development of vocational education in Haining, as well as to realize the integration of production and education, Dean Li Erping will provide professional and comprehensive academic strategic guidance to help the healthy and sustainable development of Haining's integrated circuit industry and semiconductor industry.

ZJUI always attaches great importance to the integration of industry, education and research as well as cultivation of students' practical ability and innovation ability. Dean Li Erping was appointed the consultant of the advisory group of the Haining Integrated Circuit Industry-Education Union, which is the embodiment of the college’s concern for integrating industry, education and research as well as cultivating practical comprehensive professional talents. It is also a new implement that enables the college to promote the development of local area.

The Haining Integrated Circuit Industry-Education Union is a regional, specialized, non-profit, unincorporated  industry-education union with industry-education-research function, voluntarily participated by government departments, universities, industries, enterprises and research institutions. The union aims to facilitate the reform of the vocational education system; strengthen the collaboration among schools, industries, enterprises, and scientific research units,; improve the quality of integrated circuit professional training, and maximize the comprehensive benefits of running universities and operations.
