Homework Schedule and Policy

There will be about 13-14 sets of homework. No homework will be dropped.

Homework will be posted and collected electronically through the Blackboard platform. You can either scan your handwritten solution or type your solution directly.

Homework is typically assigned on Monday at 6:00am, and due next Monday at 11:59pm (mid-night). No late homework is accepted.

You can work together on homework to discuss solution techniques, but you cannot copy solutions and you must write your own independent solutions.

There might be optional bonus problems with bonus credits in your homework. The bonus credits will contribute to and only to your homework grades.
Homework Etiquette and Good Practice

Please name your solution file properly with your student ID and your name in the form of ID_name_HW#.

Please include your name and student ID on the first page of your solution paper.

Please write your paper neatly and do not turn in scratch papers.

Indicate steps and write down only relevant equations for the problem.

Please BOX your final answers if applicable.

Try to present your work in a logical sequence.

Simplify you results as much as possible.

Tip: Regular homework practice is essential for success in this course. The problems are designed to reinforce concepts and prepare you for exams.
