Homework Schedule and Policy

• There will be about 13-14 sets of homework. No homework will be dropped.

• Homework will be posted and collected electronically through the Blackboard platform. You can either scan your handwritten solution or type your solution directly.

• Homework is typically assigned on Monday at 6:00am, and due next Monday at 11:59pm (mid-night). No late homework is accepted.

• You can work together on homework to discuss solution techniques, but you cannot copy solutions and you must write your own independent solutions.

• There might be optional bonus problems with bonus credits in your homework. The bonus credits will contribute to and only to your homework grades.

Homework Etiquette and Good Practice

• Please name your solution file properly with your student ID and your name in the form of ID_name_HW#.

• Please include your name and student ID on the first page of your solution paper.

• Please write your paper neatly and do not turn in scratch papers.

• Indicate steps and write down only relevant equations for the problem.

• Please BOX your final answers if applicable.

• Try to present your work in a logical sequence.

• Simplify you results as much as possible.

• "Think" before "write"!
